Welcome to CashForshee.com, where my resume ends and the rest of me begins. My hope in creating this is to give anyone interested in who I am, what I do, and what I am about the opportunity.
There is a companion blog to this website that can be seen here. The website functions like a photograph as a snapshot of my life and interests; conversely, the blog is movie- a place that I can jot down thoughts about my life, sociology, music, the music industry, and my goals in it. They both work well together, and I hope you take the time to review them both.
As comedian Lewis Black says we are all like snowflakes. And for that reason, my bio page creates the backdrop of who I am today, and how this snowflake was made. Growing up in Wichita, Kansas, there were many more tornadoes than snowflakes, but I have yet to find an applicable analogy that talks about tornadoes. This will have to do.
I am passionate about music. In fact, it would be accurate to say that my entire life has been shaped by it. Performing since the age of five, I learned about the bright lights and never turned back. My childhood dreams of instant stardom have slowly faded, those dreams led me to Belmont University to study the music industry, a field that I hope to work in after graduating. I love to play and always will, whether it is a crowd of 10 or 10,000. You can find more information about my work in the industry here.
Photos are always fun, and I love to share them. You will find here a collection of pictures of family, friends, and other important people in my life.
My resume is available for those who wish to see it in .pdf format. While I am still progressing into the real world, my resume encompasses the work and achievements I have accumulated thus far. If you are interested, it is right here.
The social activism page is a new, interesting development for me. My research in sociology has opened my eyes to my own blessings and privileges, and I do my best to no longer take them for granted. I am involved with a number of organizations to change this world, and I have no intention of stopping until it has happened. Check it out here.
Lastly, feel free to contact me about any questions, comments, etc. Also, utilize the great reply features on the blog. If you disagree or agree, say so! At least I will find comfort in knowing someone is actually reading it. Thank you very much for stopping by, and I hope you find what you're looking for.
